Rumors that Gigi Hadid has been having an affair with Leonardo DiCaprio seems to have rubbed Zayn Malik up the wrong way, leading the former One Direction singer to unfollow his former partner and mother of his child on Instagram, as you do. Gigi seems to still be following Zayn, at least for now.
- What’s all this about Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio? While the rumors began flowing a few weeks ago after they were spotted together at a New York Fashion Week afterparty on September 10, it was only this week that the romance between 47-year-old Leonardo DiCaprio and 27-year-old Gigi Hadid were confirmed as an official couple (at least according to the infamous “anonymous” sources that like to break these things).
- Apparently, the Revenant actor has “always had a soft spot” for Hadid. An “insider” told Us Weekly: “He thinks she’s beautiful of course but also a wise and cool character who’s got a very cultured and educated take on life.” (That, and she’s still in her 20s, which seems to be a selling point.) The insider added that “everyone’s happy to see them together, even though it did catch a lot of them off guard.”
- There’s one person who really isn’t happy about the romance. That would be Zayn Malik. Despite continuing to co-parent their 2-year-old daughter Khai together since splitting in 2020, it seems he’s still not ready to let go completely because after hearing that Gigi and Leo are apparently an item, he quietly unfollowed her on Instagram. Drama!
- What do we think of the Leonardo DiCaprio x Gigi Hadid pairing? Do we think they’ll last? Are they really dating or just hooking up? Will Leo ever date anyone closer to his own age? Does Zayn want to be back with Gigi? Is celebrity dating drama more interesting than your own dating life? So many questions, so little time to answer. We’ll have to keep our eyes peeled!
