Former WWE Star Tammy Sytch Arrested For Threatening To Kill Partner With Scissors WWE

Former WWE star Tammy Sytch has been arrested after she allegedly threatened to kill her partner with a pair of scissors, TMZ reports. Sytch, who performed as Sunny in the 1990s, was picked up in New Jersey on Thursday, though thankfully the alleged victim wasn’t hurt during the altercation.

  1. Sytch and her partner got into a domestic dispute. While it’s unclear what started the argument, police say that at one point, Sytch lifted a pair of scissors in the air and threatened to kill the man. Obviously she didn’t follow through with it, but the threat was enough to land her in cuffs.
  2. Unsurprisingly, she wasn’t completely sober at the time. Authorities say Sytch was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol at the time of the altercation. Given that Sytch has at least six prior arrests for drunk driving, it’s likely alcohol was involved.
  3. Sytch is now facing even more serious charges. She was charged with terroristic threats and possessing a weapon for unlawful purposes, both of which are considered pretty serious and could see her end up behind bars if convicted. No court date has been announced and she’s currently free on bail.
  4. She used to be a pretty big deal. Her sweet spot was 1995 to 1998, when she was a massive WWE star. She was even the most downloaded person on the internet in 1996, according to AOL. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
