These Volkswagen Bus Succulent Planters Are Hippie Heaven For Your Garden

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I love succulents. I own many of them in all different kinds of pots and containers. However, I recently discovered these incredible VW bus planters full of succulents and suddenly feel like I’ve been doing gardening wrong all along. I mean, these things are right out of my hippie dreams!

  1. This is super adorable. Beautiful, brightly colored succulents all snuggled inside a hand-painted VW bus planter? I’m so into it. Esty seller Julia offers the planters in two colors in her Succulent Artworks shop, where they have glowing reviews from people who have purchased them. They’re colorful and a lot of fun and I love them.
  2. It’s basically two gifts in one. The VW bus planter is amazing enough on its own, but the fact that these are sold already full of succulents and moss means you can literally take it right out of the box and set it out in your house and garden to be enjoyed and admired. Pretty sweet!
  3. It doesn’t take up a lot of space. Don’t worry, the planter is nowhere near the size of a real VW bus (if that wasn’t already obvious). The measurements are 6.5 inches long by 3.75 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall, so if you are keeping it indoors, it won’t take up a lot of room if that’s something you’re short on.
  4. It’s not cheap but it is worth the cost. Getting your very own VW bus succulent planter will run you $69, which may seem like a lot but really isn’t considering you get the plants with it and it’s completely hand-made. I guarantee you no one you know will own one of these (unless you’re nice enough to buy them one, that is!) and you’ll be the envy of everyone you know.
  5. Julia has lots of amazing succulent arrangements in her shop. If the VW bus isn’t for you, have a look around — I’m sure you’ll find something you love.
