Ritas is pretty much legendary in the canned margarita game. Their ready-to-drink flavors are delicious, convenient, and basically a staple of summer. Well, now they’ve gone and upped the ante with Ritas Freeze-A-Rita frozen margarita ice pops and frankly, warm weather drinking will never be the same.
- Popsicles are a summer must-have. When the weather is hot, all you want is something ice cold to cool you down. Ritas frozen margarita popsicles fit the bill with the added bonus of getting you a little buzzed while you do it.
- Ritas frozen margarita icicles come in two different flavors. There’s Lime-A-Rita, which is basically a traditional margarita flavor, and Straw-Ber-Rita, which is, duh, a strawberry margarita flavor. While it would be great if they eventually added more flavors like, say a mango margarita or watermelon flavor, these two classics will do fine for now!
- They’re basically the perfect “drink.” One of the best things about Ritas’ latest offering is that each popsicle only has 55 calories. However, it still has 8% ABV, so you can still get a decent buzz. Not only that, but once they’re frozen, they’re literally ready to enjoy, so you don’t have to put in much work. Anything that indulges my laziness is a winner for me.
- They’re available as a variety pack. Ritas is selling these as a 12-pack which includes six strawberry and six lime popsicles. Throw them in your freezer when you get home and come back for a few hours later for a delicious treat. Then try not to eat the entire box in one day. Pace yourself if you can!
- They’ll be available from May 2020. Ritas frozen margaritas will hit stores next month, a brand rep confirmed to Best Products, which means it’s not long to wait before we can enjoy these. Keep your eyes peeled, it won’t be long now!
