John Krasinski And Steve Carell Reunited For ‘The Office’s 15th Anniversary

John Krasinski And Steve Carell Reunited For ‘The Office’s 15th Anniversary YouTube/Some Good News

It’s hard to believe that The Office is turning 15 this year. It seems like only yesterday that we were introduced to Michael Scott, Jim and Pam, Stanley and Angela, and the rest of the crew. To commemorate the anniversary, Steve Carell and John Krasinski reunited this week as part of Krasinski’s new YouTube show Some Good News, and fans couldn’t have been happier.

  1. Carell was introduced as Krasinski’s “Entertainment Correspondent.” Krasinski made the introduction as he marked 15 years since Jim’s hair was gifted upon the world. Suddenly Carell popped up on a video chat, which was unexpected but certainly a welcome sight!
  2. The nostalgia factor was high! During the segment, Carell and Krasinski discussed the impact of The Office, with Carell saying he felt happy knowing that new fans were still being introduced to the show today, despite the fact that it’s been off the air for nearly seven years now. “It’s such a happy surprise that after all these years people are still tuning in and finding it, even today. It’s pretty cool,” he said. It really is!
  3. They even discussed their favorite memories from the show. Carell revealed that one episode that really stuck in his mind was “Dinner Party,” as he really loved the exchange everyone had around the flatscreen TV. Krasinski then shared some bloopers from that episode and Carell expanded on some of his favorite times. “I think most of the memories have to do with things that we shared as a cast, [like] when we were doing Fun Run and it was about 105 degrees outside,” he said. “Part of what was so much fun about it was that everybody in the cast was rooting for everybody else. People would step back when it was time for other people to shine. When you came in as Dwight that day… it was crazy watching Jim do Dwight, you’re a very good impressionist.”
  4. There’s no Office reunion planned, but you never know. Carell mentioned that he’s well-aware of how much fans want the cast to get back together, but Carell would be happy simply to see his fellow actors as they are rather than in character. “Just to see your face is so great,” he told Krasinski.
  5. It was so emotional! Frankly, I wish Krasinski would bring on a different cast member from The Office every week, though that’s not the point of his show. I just love The Office so much and I miss it!
