Have you ever thought about how great it would be to live with your best friends in a giant mansion and grow old happily together? Well, a group of seven women in Guangzhou, China are living the dream and doing exactly that! How jealous are you, because I know I am.

- It all started as a joke. The seven women work together at the same job and always joked that it’d be fun to move to a communal house once they retired so they could become awesome old ladies together, all under one roof. However, when they found a dilapidated old house for the right price, they bought it, fixed it up, and created a dream mansion where they’re all living today.
- Seriously, the house was a MESS before they got a hold of it. It basically looked like an empty shell and it certainly wasn’t fit for human inhabitants. However, after pulling their savings together and sticking to a strict budget, they’ve turned it into a thing of beauty.
- Who wouldn’t to live here? The main floor of the house is a communal space with floor-to-ceiling windows in all rooms, an incredibly massive kitchen fit for a queen (or seven!), little hangout nooks, and amazing views of the backyard pool and the rice paddies behind the property.
- You still get your own private space. Despite the fact that there’s a huge communal area on the ground floor, the bedrooms are huge, open-plan, and there’s one for each of the women to chill in when they just want to enjoy their own space for a while. It’s so beautifully green outdoors, how could you not love living here?
- The outdoor space is just as nice. In addition to a swimming pool, there’s also a patio of sorts that you reach via a bamboo walkway where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Seriously, could this be more of a dream house?
