10 Things That’ll Make You Feel Like A Total Badass, If You’re Brave Enough To Try Them

Even if you’re pretty tame in your everyday life, there’s nothing stopping you from feeling like a badass bitch when you need a pick-me-up. All you have to do is push yourself to wear something sexy or do something dangerous. Try heading down to the tattoo parlor to get some new ink, and then you can call yourself a badass bitch. Of course, if that’s not your style, there are plenty of other sexy alternatives.

  1. Wearing leather. It doesn’t matter what part of your body you cover in leather, because it’s a surefire way to feel like a badass. It sounds cliche, but slipping into a tight leather skirt, pulling on some knee-high leather boots, or rocking a leather jacket can work wonders for your self-esteem.
  2. Learning to literally kick ass. Join a self-defense class to learn how to protect yourself. When you know how to throw a punch that’ll knock a guy out, you’ll feel more badass than ever. Plus, your new skill could save your life one day.
  3. Doing something adventurous that genuinely scares you. It’s time to do something that others might call stupid, but you call exciting. Jump out of a plane, go white water rafting, or take a hot air balloon ride. Do whatever you can to get that adrenaline pumping through your system. There’s no better way to feel badass.
  4. Hopping on a motorcycle. You don’t have to learn how to ride one. If you have a friend or family member who owns a bike, then you can just hop on the back while they drive you around town. If you don’t trust them, then you can at least hop on it, pose, and take a selfie to post on Instagram. Not quite the same, but it’ll work in a pinch.
  5. Getting a new tattoo or piercing. If you’re not ready to make the commitment that a tattoo would entail, then you should get something pierced. If you don’t like how it looks, take it out and let your skin heal up. If you’ve never been pierced before, get your ears done. If you want to feel dangerous, try your nipples. If you’re totally non-committal, there are clip-ons these days which can at least show what you’d look like with the real thing before you take the plunge.
  6. Sweating like mad. Here’s a way to trick your body into getting healthier. If you hop on a treadmill, do some crunches, or swim some laps while listening to empowering music, you’ll feel like a badass. After a few weeks, when you start seeing results, your new muscles will make you feel even sexier than you did before.
  7. Making out with a stranger. Head to a party, flirt with a hottie, and make out with him. You don’t need to have sex with him and you don’t need to exchange numbers. Let him remain a mystery. The story is sexier that way.
  8. Dyeing your hair an unconventional shade. Don’t settle for dying your hair blonde or brown. Dye it turquoise, bubblegum pink, or lime green. If you like your natural color, then shave the sides or get a pixie cut. Dye will wash out and hair will grow back, so be brave and try something dramatic. If you work in a field that wouldn’t take too kindly to mermaid hair, buy a fun wig or just get hair chalk or another color that will wash out.
  9. Playing an instrument. Think of how sexy your favorite band members look on stage while rocking out to their songs. If you can’t sing, you should at least learn how to play the guitar, the bass, or the drums. Once you learn the basics, it’s time to practice the most empowering song you know and make it your anthem.
  10. Exuding confidence. It doesn’t matter where you get your confidence from. Maybe you get it from looking at yourself naked. Maybe you get it from flirting with your crush. Do whatever it takes to boost your self-esteem, because confidence will always be the sexiest thing a woman could have.
