You’re single. You’re not dead. That’s why you should stop complaining and start living. There are plenty exciting opportunities out there for single women like you. Until you find a man, you should never stop taking advantage of the situation you’re in and doing these 10 things:

  1. Refusing to settle. Your standards shouldn’t drop as you age. Even though your biological clock is ticking, you should still hold out for a man who treats you right. If you never find him, so what? Single life isn’t that bad.
  2. Focusing on yourself. Instead of giving random guys on Tinder your attention, you should be giving yourself attention. Buy some new clothes, go to a spa, or run yourself a bubble bath. You deserve it, girl.
  3. Advancing in your career. Screw love. Your career is way more important than the future husband you still haven’t met yet. Take advantage of the extra time you have for work now, so you can get a promotion before Cupid hits you with that arrow.
  4. Checking out men. Even if you’re happy being single, you can still check out men. You don’t have to walk up to them and introduce yourself. Just enjoy the eye candy. If they catch you staring, it’ll be a compliment.
  5. Being yourself. When you’re in a relationship for a long time, you’ll start to act like the other person. That’s why you should enjoy the single life. Right now, you’re your own person, and no one can tell you otherwise.
  6. Hooking up. If you’re happier having (safe) sex with strangers than going out on dates, then you should continue your lucky streak. Don’t worry about how high your number gets. If you find someone special to settle down with in the future, he won’t care how many guys you’ve banged, as long as he’s the last guy you ever bang.
  7. Spending time with friends. It doesn’t matter if your friends are single ladies too, or if they’re all in happy relationships. Either way, make sure to keep them in your life. It never hurts to shoot them a text.
  8. Telling ignorant people off. Relationships aren’t everything. If your friends pity you, because you haven’t found Mr. Right, don’t be afraid to speak your mind. Let them know that their ignorant comments have crossed the line.
  9. Dressing for yourself. You shouldn’t wear the clothing that men supposedly love. You should wear the clothing that you love. After all, it’s your body, so you should cover it with whatever you think is the cutest.
  10. Embracing your single status. Don’t mope around the entire time you’re single. Go out and have a great time! There are hundreds of married women out there jealous of your situation, so make them proud.
