Here’s Why You Should Date A Woman Who Has No Filter

No-BS girls make the best girlfriends. We may not have a filter, but that means you get the best of us and our honesty. If you can handle us, you just might find we’re the most amazing partner you’ve ever had. Here’s why:

  1. We’re honest to a fault. You won’t ever need to worry about us lying to you or not telling you the whole truth. We’re not keeping secrets and we’re not lying just to flatter your ego. You get 100% real us, 100% of the time. If you can’t handle that, that’s on you, not us.
  2. We’re wickedly funny. The thing about not having a filter? We’ve had to develop a personality to match it. A lot of girls without filters are funny, bombastic, life-of-the-party type of people. We can’t get away with being so open and honest all the time without some humor to soften it. You’ll get to enjoy that every step of the way.
  3. There won’t be any games. We’re not manipulative. We tell you what we’re thinking straight up. No will-they-won’t-they back and forth, no worrying about whether or not we’re manipulating you. You’ll know where you stand with us and you won’t need to be concerned about digging the truth out of us.
  4. We’re faithful. Not having a filter means we’re used to brutal honesty, all the time. That means we’re loyal, too. We’re not the kind to stray, because when we’re unhappy, swe don’t waste time on messing around behind your back. We’re loyal and when we’re dissatisfied, you can count on us telling you upfront  instead of playing the field in secret.
  5. When we love something, we love hard. Once we make our mind up about it, we’re all in — that includes you too. Not having a filter means we wear our heart on our sleeve a lot. If that scares you, it shouldn’t. There’s a lot of advantages in being with a girl who’s open and honest about what she’s feeling. For one thing, it’ll prompt you to be more honest with your own emotions, but you’ll also have the security of knowing just how much we care for you in return.
  6. We’ll talk about our past. The reasons our previous relationships didn’t work, the things we’ve learned from them, and what we’re hoping to never repeat — they’re all on the table. We won’t censor out the parts where we didn’t come out looking quite as rosy. You’ll get the real deal all the time. If you’re looking for a serious relationship, there’s no better way to start out than with all the cards on the table like that. It gives you a better look at your compatibility and what kind of challenges you can expect.
  7. We’ll tell you what we really think. You’ll always know where we stand in the relationship. You won’t have to go digging for what’s wrong or why we’re upset — you’ll know. If you’re the kind of guy who needs his ego to be constantly taken care of, a no-BS girl isn’t the one for you. But then again, if you’re that guy, we’re not wasting time with you anyway.
  8. We’re not hiding anything. No ex-lovers, no mysterious midnight texts. We’ll expect the same in return. If that challenges you, well, think of it as character building. You’ll get a chance to work on your own filters and learn why you try to hide things or feel reluctant to address them. We’ll help push you to grow as a person.
  9. We’ll try not to be rude. Not having a filter doesn’t give us a pass for outright rudeness. We may slip up from time to time, but we’re aware of social niceties and we’ll try our best to observe them. Being a no-BS girl doesn’t mean we’re mean girls. In fact, it can make us more sensitive to the emotions of others. As long as you understand that nobody’s perfect, you won’t be embarrassed by us too much. Promise.
  10. We make life more interesting. It’s a lot more fun when you’ve got a no-BS girl on your arm. You’ll always be laughing and you’ll constantly be challenged. What could be more fun than that?
